KWPA FM 96.9 is your community public radio station. Based in Coupeville, WA on Whidbey Island we broadcast and stream our programs so all the people on Whidbey Island can listen to people in their community. There are many different programs with more constantly being developed. Join your friends and neighbors in creating programs as well as listening to them.
Studio & Transmitter
KWPA Studio is on the Coupeville Wharf, with the seagulls as commentators on the roof
KWPA is now operating from it’s studio on the end of the Coupeville Wharf. The studio is near the “Local Grown” Whidbey Island farm foods, Espresso and Marine Supplies Shop and is fully equipped.
A new transmission site is operational near Blowers Bluff on the north shore of Penn Cove and broadcast over Central Whidbey Island. KWPA Radio programming will also be streamed across this website within the next few months.
